Compostable/Biodegradable
The One Earth® product line is certified compostable in 14-21 days. Throw your One Earth® tea bag, string, tag and envelope or pouch into your compost! No need to remove the tag or string. If a compost is not available, the One Earth® product without tea is recyclable.
The entire One Earth® product line is not bleached and does not have any additives. The material has a delicate “white” coloring when dry and will turn completely clear when wet!

Non-GMO
Better materials start with better ingredients. One Earth® is made from 100% non-GMO sugar cane and contains no additives. Our plant-based material is designed to give brands a simple, transparent packaging solution—made entirely from non-GMO plants.
USDA 100% BioBased
We are one of the few companies certified 100% USDA Biobased. After extensive testing with the USDA, the entire One Earth® product line was certified USDA 100% Biobased in November of 2019.
Plastic Free
One Earth® is proud to be certified plastic free through A Plastic Plant. After extensive testing, we received this certified in December of 2019.
As part of our ongoing commitment to product transparency, One Earth® recently completed independent laboratory testing in September of 2026 to evaluate whether material from One Earth® tea bags could be detected in brewed tea. Using three complementary analytical methods—Raman spectroscopy, Dried-drop Raman, and gold nanoparticle-assisted Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) samples were evaluated under a range of real-world brewing conditions, including 90°C and 100°C water, different heating times, 24-hour standing periods, and Earl Grey tea samples. One Earth® material was not detected in any of the brewed extracts tested, including both fresh and 24-hour samples. These findings add to our long-standing Plastic Free certification from A Plastic Planet and reflect our commitment to ongoing, independent verification and product transparency.

We manufacture all materials, filters, and products in the United States. The Nonwoven Network® and One Earth® headquarters are located in Naples, FL, and our One Earth® offices are located in Austin, TX.
